Flooding in the State of Florida

Flooding in Florida is all too common. In fact, Florida flooding is among the Sunshine State’s biggest and most frequent hazards. As a peninsula state, Florida is surround on three sides with ocean water. Plus, Florida often finds itself in the middle of hurricane season’s largest storms. These factors combine to make Florida, especially South Florida, a target for potential flooding.
